Admin Worker
Role: Admin Worker (Housing - Domestic Abuse)
Hours: 35 per week
Parking: On-site parking available
Contract: Temp to Perm
Respond to service communications (telephone and email) professionally, ensuring queries and tasks are dealt with promptly and efficiently
Resolve email and telephone enquiries at first point of contact to provide a quick, hassle-free service for service users
Manage referrals and incoming phone calls, including responding to general queries
Send out assessment forms, review completed assessments to determine suitability for the service, and allocate cases to an appropriate housing support worker
Greet and welcome service users and visitors attending the drop-in service, including issuing and collecting assessment forms
Provide ongoing administrative support to the team as directed by the line manager
Enter and maintain accurate data on the client database and ensure effective electronic record-keeping systems
Monitor admin inboxes and action or respond to relevant enquiries in a timely manner
Support the management team with report production
Attend meetings and accurately record and distribute minutes when required
Receive MARAC hearing schedules and review client lists to identify known service users
Prepare meeting rooms before and after meetings, ensuring they are ready for use
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent service and admin coverage throughout the working day
Maintain a safe, organised, and clutter-free office environment in line with health and safety requirements
Support vulnerable families, including assisting with finding suitable accommodation after fleeing domestic abuse
- Administration experience in a busy office environment
- Preferable housing and homelessness expertise and/or at least a years' experience working with victims of domestic abuse
- DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
