Role: Team Manager - Domestic Abuse Housing & Support

Location: East Midlands

Hours: 37 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £16.50 - £21 depending on pay status

Contract: Temp to Perm

Supporting Futures are recruiting on behalf of a specialist domestic abuse charity for a Team Manager to lead a team delivering trauma-informed housing and support services to women and children affected by domestic abuse.

This opportunity could suit an established Team Manager or an experienced Senior Domestic Abuse Practitioner, Senior IDVA, Senior Refuge Worker or similar professional looking to take the next step into management.

You will provide supportive and reflective leadership to frontline practitioners, ensuring survivors receive high-quality, safe and individually tailored support while helping to develop the service and strengthen partnership working.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Line managing, supporting and motivating frontline domestic abuse practitioners
• Providing supervision, reflective practice and case support
• Overseeing safeguarding, risk management and complex casework
• Supporting recruitment, induction and staff development
• Ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed and survivor-centred service delivery
• Monitoring service performance, outcomes and quality
• Developing relationships with external agencies and representing the service at multi-agency meetings
• Contributing to service development, planning and continuous improvement
• Supporting a positive, inclusive and resilient team culture

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse and/or individuals with complex needs
• Experience within a leadership, senior practitioner or supervisory capacity
• Strong safeguarding, risk assessment and case management experience
• Knowledge of DASH, MARAC and trauma-informed practice
• An understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children
• Knowledge of homelessness, housing and support needs
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• A compassionate, empowering and non-judgemental approach

A relevant qualification or equivalent experience within domestic abuse, social care or a related area is required. Management training is desirable, although candidates willing to undertake this will also be considered.

An Enhanced DBS will be required.
